Illustration Friday: Reverse

Pink Skunks, pen & marker on marker paper, 9 x 12", 2011.
Why are the skunks pink?  Just because.

I had a bad drawing day today;  nothing turned out how I wanted.  My original idea had to do with zebras, but they wouldn't cooperate.

    I really like it! Who wants a black and white skunk with you can have one with color?! I know exactly how you feel, I hate in when the muse doesn't cooperate with the hands! It's bad enough when they're so elusive....:)

    What I really love are the looks on the skunks faces. What are they looking at? Are they pondering their pinkness? Are they about to get into mischief? They are very likable pink skunks. Skunks are more interesting than zebras anyway. Although zebras you would draw might be cute and doing something interesting, so I don't know! Anyway, I think your skunks rock! :)
